Fortunately...Unfortunately
When I was a child I had a book called Fortunately. The past few weeks my life has been mimicking the spirit of this book.
- Fortunately I had a whole week off in which to record videos!
- Unfortunately my computer crashed and I was unable to record, edit, and upload any.
- Fortunately my son was able to diagnose, repair, and recover all my data!
- Unfortunately my week was just about over.
- Fortunately I was able to record one video!
- Unfortunately I don't have time to edit it. I will be at VBS this week, next week I'm dog sitting, the following week I have to call in for jury duty and the 4th week we are doing a whole house clean out.
- Fortunately my son will be graduating homeschool on July 4th!
- Unfortunately we still have 3 more weeks of school left.
- Fortunately I've got playlists you can listen to! You can get caught up with the original Fascinating Womanhood series, or listen to the story Secrets of Fascinating Womanhood, or clean and cook while listening to the best little homemaker from 1917, Bettina from the book 1000 Ways to Please a Husband.
- There are also stories from Grace Livingston Hill and Louisa May Alcott, as well as the Homemaking Storytime playlist, Laine's Letters, Exemplary Wives, Married 50 years interviews, and other playlists about fun cleaning games and being the gatekeeper of your home.
I will upload a video when I can, but it may not be until July 22nd. I will set the next video on FW5.10: Your Voice as a Premiere so that it will send you a message if you are subscribed to me on YouTube. If I have any pre-recorded videos on subjects other than FW I may upload those. We'll see!
Have a lovely week, my beautiful homemakers! For you are a homemaker even if you are not at home full-time. May God bless you in your homemaking efforts!
And thank you for subscribing to my YT channel. If you want to subscribe to this blog, sign up with the Contact Form. Thank you!

Full disclosure: this picture is from 20 years ago!
You actually don’t look much different now😊
ReplyDeleteThank you! That was nice to hear! :)
DeleteIt sounds like you've been very busy. Unlike you, I absolutely love homeschooling & don't ever want it to end! I'm glad I still have many more years to go, although I've graduated a few now. I hope you are doing well & enjoying God's blessings.
ReplyDeleteActually, I would love to continue homeschooling! But my son is ready to go to college and do it on his own :) You are so blessed to have so many children to homeschool! Happy for you!
